Many people volunteer with and obtain specialized training through Extension programs. In addition to the 4H youth clubs and programs the Master Gardener and Master Naturalist programs are offered through Extension.

The Master Naturalist program offers special opportunities to become involved in very interesting projects. For those that are interested in also can provide a great opportunity to speak to travelers and help them to enjoy and understand the natural features and outdoor activities of Oregon communities.
