Join us in celebrating Travel Then and Now. National Travel and Tourism Week May 6-12 2018

National Travel and Tourism Week is an annual tradition for the U.S. travel community. It’s a time when travel and tourism professionals across the country unite to celebrate the value travel holds for our economy, businesses and personal well-being.

This year’s celebration, which will take place May 6 – 12, 2018, marks the 35th anniversary of the 1983 congressional resolution that established NTTW—and it’s all about celebrating the contributions and accomplishments of the U.S. travel community over the course of the last several decades.

Greetings Owner / HR Manager –

As we all know, recruiting a skilled workforce is difficult these days.  We are creating initiatives to address these challenges and intend to identify the most common workforce training needs by surveying employers directly http://oregonstate.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6JWmo7gruXqTG5L

Preferably the person responsible for, or knowledgeable about, your company’s workforce development i.e. the hiring and training of employees should complete this survey by 5:00pm on Monday, February 26th.

This survey has been commissioned by the Oregon Coast Visitors Association (OCVA) as part of our effort to provide responsive service by offering to support specialized training and professional development opportunities to the coastal visitor industry.

Your responses will help us determine priorities.  Some educational programs may be offered at no charge, while others will require a fee.  OCVA will partner with other organizations like Oregon State University Extension to provide training in response to the information you provide.

Answering every question greatly improves our ability to provide appropriate support, however all of the questions are completely optional.  Reports generated will not include any business or personal names or emails.  The contact information helps to respond to specific needs and to ensure respondents are valid.

Thank you!

Marcus
